Roles and Responsibilities: The responsibilities of each Director will be to:
- Be part of and act in advisory and administrative capacities to the Representative Assembly.
- Attend monthly Executive Board meetings and Representative Assemblies.
- Make recommendations for presentation to the Representative Assembly for its consideration and decision.
- Actively recruit enthusiastic Association members to serve on various committees.
- Take responsibility for initiating at least one activity during the school year that is designed to further communication between both our membership and the community.
- Take responsibility for implementing policies and resolutions made by the Representative Assembly.
- Administer the program of the Association and perform the duties of the administrative body.
- When appropriate, submit monthly newsletter articles by the Monday following the RA.
The four Directors' terms will be staggered. Two Directors will be elected to a two-year term which begins in an even-numbered year, taking office on June 1. Two Directors will be elected to a two-year term which begins in an odd-numbered year, taking office on June 1.
