1. Shall assist member locals in matters of negotiations.
2. Shall assist member locals in matters of professional rights and responsibilities including grievances.
3. Shall develop materials and present leadership training to member locals.
4. Shall assist member locals in matters of public relations.
5. Shall assist member locals in legislative matters.
6. Shall assist member locals in membership promotion and development.
7. Shall provide counsel, advice, and representation to individuals in member locals.
8. Shall represent individual in job-related nonrenewal conferences, grievance arbitrations, and unemployment compensation hearings.
9. Shall represent individual locals in INT/ARB investigations, hearing, and arbitrations.
10. Shall develop research, rationale and strategy, and write all briefs for grievance and interest arbitrations.
11. Shall be computer literate and exhibit skill in using spreadsheets, word processing, and other software programs.
12. Shall work cooperatively with the President and Board of Directors in planning the agendas for all Board meetings and Representative Assemblies.
13. Shall participate in cooperative Labor/Management endeavors in all locals.
14. Shall prepare a monthly report of activities for the Board of Directors.
15. Shall provide overall coordination and guidance in the development and execution of the goals and objectives of the UniServ unit.
16. Shall maintain the confidentiality of individual member(s) concerns in a professional manner.
17. Shall perform such other duties assigned by the UniServ Board.
